Before designing the outside, I strive to understand the inside.
Ruga Korpo, a non-profit organization founded in 2010 in Mexico City, is dedicated to offering dance movement therapy and an enjoyable support system for individuals with intellectual disabilities and their families. Their approach revolves around empathy, a sense of belonging, trust, and playfulness, all aimed at creating equal opportunities and fostering an inclusive environment for their participants.
Ruga Korpo wants to modernize its image and connect with young people with disabilities aged 18 to 25, Magnolia has developed a new visual identity system and a more approachable brand. Our reimagined logo reflects our core values of inclusion, support, and human connection, while the typography "dances" together with a vibrant and playful color palette embodies the spirit of a supportive and fun community.
Magnolia thinking about all the challenges people with disabilities face daily, we designed a user-friendly booking app to simplify further the process of booking dance sessions or workshops. This app provides a way for them to schedule therapy sessions with ease and efficiency, empowering participants to explore the transformative world of dance therapy movement.
With a brand new identity, Ruga Korpo strives to recognised a safe haven where families find the support they need, and their loved ones can explore their full potential, forge lasting friendships while having fun.
